The dam being built in Myanmar is an unfair project. China is the only country to benefit from the dam, they will get 90% of the power produced from the dam, but the locals have well founded complants, the reservoir will flood not only miles of woods but also flood very importnat religious locations. This reservoir will also flood the widely recognized birthplace of Burma. If this was not enough, the dam is within 100 kilometers of a fault line. If there was a an earthquake and the dam broke thousands of people could be killed by the surge of water. It is rather obvious this is a bad and selfish idea by the chinese and this article is clearly opposed. Not only from the language they use but the first and last paragraphs are against dams construction.
